Overview

Step into the world of live events and festivals with this practical, hands-on Skills Bootcamp. Designed for absolute beginners, this course introduces you to the essential skills needed to work safely, confidently and professionally behind the scenes at concerts, festivals, and large-scale events. From site setup and crowd control to technical production and sustainability, you’ll gain real-world experience and the confidence to start your career in the live events industry.

Cost

This Skills Bootcamp is provided at no-cost to eligible applicants and is fully funded for individuals in West Yorkshire and Hertfordshire.

Location

This is a blended course, with most learning delivered in person at venues in West Yorkshire and Hertfordshire with some remote sessions (e.g. guest masterclasses or health & safety modules) taking place online. Exact course locations still to be confirmed.

Course Length

72 total hours (60 guided learning + 12 self-directed learning).

Course Outcomes

You’ll complete key industry certifications, gain hands-on experience in site management and technical production and leave with the confidence and connections to step into entry-level crewing roles, with access to guaranteed interviews and real freelance opportunities.
