The Academy of Live Technology Council is the overarching governing body for the Academy of Live Technology. It is primarily responsible for overseeing its activities, determining its future direction and promoting an environment in which its mission is achieved, and the potential of all students is maximised. The Council approves the vision, mission and strategic plans of the institution; the appointment of senior post holders; the composition and terms of reference of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Academic Board; overall staffing and facilities plans; overall financial objectives and plans and approves the annual operating budgets.
